HELP OTHERS LEARN THE BASICS
We at Let's Cook believe that everyone regardless of age or ability needs to have access to learning basic cooking skills. Because of this, our main goal is to help provide learning opportunities to those who may not be able to afford a class.
CLASS SPONSORSHIP
One of the ways we do this is by offering class sponsorships. For $10 you can sponsor a class. For every 6 sponsors we get we offer a class to individuals who otherwise could not attend one. We work with local charities, food banks and children's programs to find most of our recipients. But if you or someone you know would like to be added to our class list please reach out.
FOOD PANTRY DEMO SPONSORSHIP
Another way we offer classes in our community is to offer food pantry demonstrations. When we hold a food pantry demonstration and tasting, we work with local food pantries to hold an open demonstration to learn to cook healthy nutritious meals using items they would get from the food pantry.
The cost of sponsorship for a food pantry demonstration is $50.
